• Welcome, Families!

    Mama’s (& Papa’s) Cooperative Encinitas is a local group of women (& men, too!) supporting each other with personal and professional growth & development along with other Soul-full nourishment.

  • Our Co-op is home base of our "Little Sprouts Learning Garden,"

    where children learn, grow and blossom. We also host seasonal adventures and celebrations for the whole family!

  • We are also an enterprise of women supporting women in earning incomes to support our families.

    From children’s “edu-tainment” programs to facilitating ceremonial rituals that honor birth, loss & union, and including our signature ‘Mama Moves Movement Medicine Circles for Women,’ we offer nourishing programs designed to tickle and satiate your MindBody, SoulSpirit.

We are women remembering how to slow down and take care of ourselves, as well as families remembering how to raise our children together.

We do this by providing:

– a Co-working Space
for Mamas and Papas to tend to their personal & professional work;

– 4 hours of Nature-based Play
for little ones, 18 months to 4 years old;

– Monthly Community Healing Sessions,
including movement medicine classes & a Self Care happy hour;

– Monthly Emotional Support Circles for Mamas;

– Seasonal Events for the Whole Family;

-“Mama & Me” Gardening Sessions & Local Hikes;

+ More!

We are also the home base of

“Little Sprouts
Learning Garden,”

where our children learn, grow & blossom.

Our permaculture garden buzzes with
repurposed wood pallets serving as
a music wall, a water table, art easels and more.

With the children busy in the garden,
Mama (& Papa)
can tend to their personal & professional needs
in our co-working studio or during one of our many, monthly events – including,
emotional support circles, medicine movement classes,
educational workshops, our Self Care happy hour & more.

“Mama’s Co-op is not only my greatest savior as a single mother but it is a dream come true! My son is thriving with the play based learning. The mamas are all so loving and supportive of my son and his busy mind. He is encouraged in his creativity and guided with gentle support. I just can’t say enough about our experiences in this loving, playful, learning garden environment.
And to top it all off, acupuncture and massage are available to support our healing journey as mothers. Need I say more?!
I am so grateful and I feel so supported as a mother in this amazing community.”

“Being able to use the co-work space at the Mama’s (& Papa’s) Co-op has been such a joy and invaluable asset for me. It’s the best of both worlds: I get to do a few hours of work and periodically step outside to take a stretch and watch my daughter at play. I look forward to Co-op days just as much as my daughter does! The co-work space is comfy and quiet with great wifi. As an independent contractor who sometimes struggles to juggle parenthood and work responsibilities, the Co-op has made my life way easier. “
